Able to cover homes up to 8,000 square feet, the Cana-Vac 399-XLS Premium Central Vacuum Cleaner actually removes from the environment 100% of dust and allergens it collects. Central vacuums exhaust to the exterior of your home, similar to a dryer vent. Conventional, portable vacuums exhaust directly into the room you're trying to clean.For an even cleaner experience, the Cana-Vac 399-XLS Premium Central Vacuum Cleaner is a Hybrid unit, meaning it can be used either with, or without a bag. The use of a bag will prevent a nasty allergen ridden dust plume from appearing when you empty your central vacuum, which, by the way, needs only be done once or twice a year. Instead of being subject to all that dust, the use of a bag, of which three are included, will make emptying your central vacuum clean, healthy, and simple.
An upgrade from the 399-LS, the Cana-Vac 399-XLS Premium Central Vacuum Cleaner includes a Teflon filter, an Exhaust Muffler, and Quiet Construction. One may wonder if these extras are worth it. Well, an exhaust muffler will make running your unit quieter, as noise from the motor will travel out the exhaust. The exhaust it's self is passed through a Teflon filter, capturing allergens allowing for clean, healthy air around the exhaust port. The composition of the body of this unit is superior to that of the 399-L in that it will create less noise while turned on.
A 15 Amp Circuit may be used, however, to be safe, we recommend a 20 amp circuit.
