When it comes to vacuuming, what do you consider
clean? Is your home clean if your vacuum picks up things you can see
like lint and dropped cereal? What about things you can hear like
paperclips and small specks of dirt? Maybe you even equate cleanness
with the rows your vacuum leaves on your carpet. What about the things
you can't see though? There are lots of germs and other microorganisms
living on the surface of your carpet that could potentially cause you
and your family harm. You may think you have to use chemicals to get rid
of these microscopic enemies, but that simply is not true. There is a
new way to rid your home of microorganisms you can't see, hear or smell:
the Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum.
The Halo 3290 UV-ST Ultraviolet Vacuum was invented by Ken and
Carrie Garcia. They were worried about bringing their premature triplets
into a home filled with germs. They came up with the idea of using UV-C
technology in conjunction with a vacuum cleaner. They knew that UV-C
light has germicidal properties. It was already used in hospitals and
water treatment facilities to disinfect and kill germs. If used with a
vacuum cleaner, the UV-C light could kill certain common germs living on
carpet surfaces and floors. The Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum would not only
kill irritants, but use powerful pick-up technology to remove dirt and
debris from carpet. This means their home would be clean enough to bring
their children home. The Halo was born when the Garcia babies were born.
The Halo technology really works. Independent
testing confirmed that UV-C light can kill more than 99% of common
household germs like E.Coli, MSRA, Clostridium Difficile, Aspergillus
Niger and Feline Calicivirus. It can also extinguish more than 90% of
flea eggs and other pests on carpets in as little as one second of UV-C
light exposure. Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum Cleaners have a sleep and
hi-tech design. There is a stunning blue light illuminating from the
bottom of the vacuum cleaner. It is not there so you can vacuum easily
in the dark. It is an ultraviolet light that shines directly onto the
carpet or floor surface. This UV-C light makes Halo the world's only
germ killing vacuum.
UV light is not visible to the human eye. It is
found on the right side of visible light on the light spectrum. There
are three spectrums of ultraviolet light. UVA is probably most commonly
known as "black light." UVB is the kind of ultraviolet light used in
tanning beds. UV-C is the germ killing light that the Halo Ultraviolet
Vacuum Cleaner utilizes. The way the ultraviolet light kills germs, is
it disrupts the DNA structure of their cells or breaks down the germs
make-up.
As well as having ultraviolet technology, the Halo
Ultraviolet Vacuum Cleaner is equipped with a HEPA filtration system
that traps dirt, debris, germs and pests with an extremely high level of
efficiency. It also has a disposable dust bag so you can remove the
offending organisms from your home with haste. This green machine uses
no chemicals, runs efficiently and is registered with the EPA. The Halo
Ultraviolet Vacuum Cleaner harnesses the light of the sun for the
benefit of you and your family.
