The Miele S163 Black Universal Upright Stick Vacuum Cleaner is an excellent vacuum for low pile carpeting like areas rugs and hard floors. A unique Super Air Clean filter is made of electrostatically charged multi-ply material. This helps it retain 99.95% of particles down to 0.5 of a micron and 94% of particles down to 0.3 of a micron. This filter lasts as long as 5 dustbags.The IntensiveClean Dustbag that the Miele S163 uses retain excellent suction even when it is full. It does this by retaining the dust particles within its intricate web of 3-ply random-spun fibers which keeps the pores on the surface of the dustbag open longer. It also prevents damages caused by sharp objects in the bag or through misuse during placement because it is tear proof.
The Miele S163 also comes with an combination rug/smooth floor tool. This tool is ideal for smooth floors and very low pile carpets. A rocker switch allows you to go from vacuuming smooth floors to carpeted floors in one quick click. The metal glided sole is incredibly gentle and the wide thread lifters help collect dirt and dust for a thorough clean.
