Some Items are Particularly prone to scratches, for these items it is best to use the steam nozzle without a brush attachment. For most other areas, start with the included nylon brush, the least abrasive of them all, and carefully work your way up to the brass brush attachment. If the brass brush isn't doing the trick, try the optional stainless steel brush, the most abrasive brush available. Please use care when using the brushes in order to prevent damage or scratching.
The Reliable 3KSPGS010 Replacement Nylon Brush, because of it's softness, is ideal for getting the dirt out of grout, bathtubs and other surfaces where scrubbing action is needed. Be careful not to scratch the surface. Nylon works well, but it also wears away quickly, this is why we offer replacements.
