The Eureka 972B Maxima lightweight canister vacuum is a great all around canister vacuum.  It's standard filtration system keeps upturned dust from ending back up in the air allowing you to breathe easy.  The bag change indicator prevents bag overflow to keep your vacuum extra clean.

The 972B uses a wide 12 inch cleaning path and a 11 amp motor to make cleaning extremely easy.  It durable casters and 13 pound weight make the unit extremely easy to move.  The handle adjusts to user height to prevent cleaning fatigue.

Eureka's 972B Maxima lightweight canister vacuum has on-board tool storage to give you plenty of cleaning options at your finger tips.  Tools include a mini crevice tool, a mini dusting brush and a full size dusting brush to help you tackle a variety of surfaces.  Plus, there is an automatic cord rewind function to eliminate unnecessary tangles.

I just wanted a basic vacuum that would do a basic job. And for the price I knew it would be cheap. The floor attachment is very cheap plastic but the wands are metal and substantial. It does its job but really should upgrade the floor attachment I am concerned that that won't last long.
