This is a great machine for any size house or apartment. I bought because I moved into an apt with my dog. I used it more to clean up after my own spills rather than the puppies. Very light weight and easy to use.

We bought our carpet shampooer because of its good ratings from people who bought it; its good price; its light weight and small size. It seemed less complicated, sturdier than the bigger machines. We own a small house with area rugs. We have cleaned every rug in the house and are very, very pleased. We like the results on our rugs and we like the way we can get the machine very clean after each use. It IS uncomplicated and easy to use.
